Yes, when you activate your online access,you will create a user name and a password. You are the only one licensed to use this password.
We have online instructions for what to do if you forget your user name or your password.
If your institution has a site subscription, you will have access to the tables of contents, full text display, Medline links, and future tables of contents. You'll also see a the name of the institution at the top of the page confirming you're signed in as part of an institution.
If your institution does not have a site subscription, please contact your local librarian to request one..
Yes, individuals and institutions will continue to be able to receive the paper version for the foreseeable future. You may also choose to subscribe to the online version only.
Individual (Non-Member) subscriptions are available to individuals, providing them with a paper and electronic version of the journal. AAP Members are eligible for Member Subscriptions to AAP Grand Rounds, providing them with a paper and electronic version of the journal. Members and Non-Members may also have access to AAP Grand Rounds Online through an Institutional Subscription. Institutional subscriptions are somewhat more limited than individual subscriptions. The special services are not available to institutional subscribers, and full-text access from off of the institution's network (e.g. home access) is not available.
You may wish to apply for AAP membership and subscribe to AAP Grand Rounds at the member rate, or you may wish to purchase a non-Member subscription--both of which provide access to the electronic version. Without a subscription you have access to Tables of contents and email notifications at no cost.
